Public product discovery
The EFI guide library provides direct explanations of the major analytical workflows, their read order, source requirements, and limitations. It is useful to people and to systems that retrieve public web content.
llms.txt provides a public documentation index and the operational guide for EFI's MCP tools. It is not a tool endpoint, an authentication method, or a promise that a search engine or AI service will index, cite, or recommend EFI.
Optional MCP integration
Model Context Protocol, or MCP, is a way for compatible AI clients to discover and call external tools. EFI exposes a hosted MCP endpoint for its supported analytical workflows. The client and account still need authorization for the requested tools.
https://mcp.efiterminal.com/Clients that expect an explicit MCP path can use https://mcp.efiterminal.com/mcp/. Follow the connection and authorization flow supported by your client. Account access and client capabilities determine which tools can be used.
- Check client support
Confirm that your AI app supports connecting to a remote MCP service and the authorization method available for your EFI account.
- Connect and authorize
Add the EFI endpoint in the client's integration settings and complete its supported authorization flow. Keep credentials out of prompts and public documents.
- Inspect the returned evidence
Ask a specific research question, then review the tool's source, timestamp, horizon, exclusions, and availability before relying on the answer.
Ask for a bounded analytical question
Examples include explaining a ticker's expected range, inspecting a selected expiration's gamma exposure, comparing seasonal evidence, or reading EFI Rotation outputs. The server's available tool descriptions are the current contract; a public guide is not an exhaustive permission or tool catalog.
An AI explanation should preserve the same distinctions as the product: underlying movement versus option returns, observed outcomes versus historical expectation, and an unavailable value versus a measured zero. If required source evidence is missing, the answer should say so.
Compatibility and access
- ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and other AI products differ in connector support. Availability can depend on the product, plan, workspace, and administrator settings; support across all of them is not guaranteed.
- An authorized EFI account and a compatible MCP client are required. A documented endpoint does not establish access to every tool or private dataset.
- The integration is optional. It does not grant broker order-placement authority, make research an investment recommendation, or guarantee an AI answer's accuracy.
